Dollfie Dream Meetup in Toronto – February 18, 2012

This past weekend a few of the local Dollfie Dream owners got together to hang out, chat, swap items and eat cake! nkei recommended we meet at Café Princess up in North York, and it was a lovely venue for our meet! We had a nice, private room to ourselves and there was a great turn-out!

One of the nice place about this venue is lots of couches for us to settle into, and some really pretty desserts! The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are very generous! My only (small) complaint is that they served us our tea and café latté’s in disposable paper cups, rather than proper china. I think they use china in the main area of the café, so it was probably to save dishes? Weird.

We had quite the all-star turn-out! Here are the girls that PlasticFantastic brought with her: the lovely Yuki Morikawa, wearing a cool casual outfit.

Here is Alna looking stunning, and hanging out with my Mélisande. Doesn’t Alna’s porcelain complexion look beautiful in this Pink Champagne wig?

Here is Odette, looking very stylish in one of the new Volks winter outfits.

This is di-chan123‘s Saber Lily, and she looks really adorable in this hoodie and skirt! Behind her, is Machiko‘s Ventus, cosplaying as Ciel Phantomhive, and he was the only boy doll at the meet!

Here are Juu-Yuki‘s Rina and Sakura hanging out with PF’s Yuki. They are so adorable together!

This is Juu-Yuki’s Alice, after a quick wardrobe change into Akira’s default outfit. She looks so lovely after the face-up refresh that Juu-Yuki gave her.

This is Machiko’s Ventus (a Volks MSD Ken) cosplaying as Ciel Phantomhive. Aren’t his eyes cool? They are custom eyes from ErsaFlora.

This little darling is Amy’s Volks Yo-Tenshi Yuh. She has such a sweet face and a classic face-up.

Here is Kai-suteki‘s custom DDH-02 head, now with eyelashes installed. She looks a little more complete everytime I see her ^__^

A few if us had ordered some eyes from Twin Snow, and I was really excited to see try them! I’ve been looking for the eyes to really bring out Médée’s lovely face-up and I think these pretty blue ones may be the ones.

T-Rho set up a game of Hot Potato for us, and the prize was a beautiful DD-sized scarf from her online shop – Kaitekina

I don’t have a picture of the prize… hopefully when some of the other members upload I can grab one of their photos! ♥Kaitekina.

Here I am wearing the prize – being photobombed by Sam and Amy. We all look terrible in this photo, so it’s all good! Ahaha!

I won a pretty “Chocolate Love” scarf, and it matched the Lolita outfit that Moe was wearing perfectly!

Thanks to everyone for coming out for another fun meet-up! Looking forward to the next one! ♥

    • I promise to let you know if ever I’m in your neck of the woods, so that we can have cake and a DD outing! ^__^b

And in turn, you must let me know if and when you pop into Toronto again! I’m sure we could round up a few people for a mini-meet! ^__~”

  1. Aw, looks like you guys had a great time 🙂 So many pretty dolls!!! I didn’t know Cafe Princess had private rooms XD The desserts are very pretty! (Though why is it every time I’ve been there, they didn’t have what I wanted!?)

    • It’s too bad you couldn’t make it 😦

We’ll have another in March (after St. Patrick’s weekend probably) that hopefully you can attend!

The café has a room in the back that can fit 15 or so people. There’s minimum food order for the group, but it worked out to about $10/ person, which is reasonable.

  2. I am SO jealous.

    SO JEALOUS.
Of the dolls yes… maybe… ok, no, I’m happy you guys have those girls, you all do such a beautiful job of photographing them… what I am jealous of… IS THE DESSERT!!!!

Gah, why does the town I live in not have such fantastic dessert places?

It’s not fair! If I’m going to be a fat American, I want to be fat on that kind of stuff… not potato chips and fast food! CURSES! … Oh Canada, you make me so sad. XD
