Most of you know that I adopted a SmartDoll Mirai a few weeks ago from TheBobness ^_^ I had her with me at Anime North at the Dollfie Dream panel that I hosted with PlasticFantastic, and she was also at PlasticFantastic’s figure collecting panel and hung out with us at the Nominoichi on Friday evening. She was extremely popular and I was pleasantly surprised with how many people recognized her.
I recently placed an order from the SmartDoll store to order some awesome boots and a couple of other accessories for Mirai and I made an unboxing video when the parcel arrived today. I rarely buy things specifically for one particular doll (I like my girls to be able to share!) but these suede boots were too lovely to pass up!

I have been following your blog for a couple of years since getting MOMO my first Volks girl. Well I just got a Smartdoll ebony, her name is Aya, and since I had seen your video on the boots I had to get them as well as the shorts. I have to say that after buying two Volks and numerous other bjds that Danny’s Smartdoll and accessories are amazing. Some of the best quality and presentation ever. I think he is well on his way to building a brand as nice as his fathers shoes. Anyway keep up the great blog entries and maybe some day I will get to Anime North and have a chance to meet you.

Congratulations on welcoming Aya to your doll family! I do agree that Danny’s presentation, branding and quality are really wonderful and it’s nice that he’s focusing on casual apparel for his dolls.
I travel around quite a bit, so hopefully someday we can hang out a doll meet!
