Last weekend a few of the Toronto-based Dollfie Dream owners met up for a small doll met, and we welcomed 3 new faces! AkaTG, Nurlindae and a friend of MrCool00236’s came to hang out with us. Since we were a small-ish group, we went to Café Princess and brought a few dolls with us! We had a loose theme of Springtime, Easter and St. Patrick’s Day so there were lots of cute outfits on the dolls!

We weren’t able to book the party room so we sat out front, and it was actually very nice since there was more natural light. These girl were early so they got set up first –

I brought Hinata (DD Shino on a DDdy3 body), Siobhán (DD Saber Alter) and Serena (DD Yuki Morikawa) with me; Di-chan123 brought Lily, and PlasticFantastic brought Odette (DD Neris), Amber (DD Airy) and MDD Cirno!

While the café was still quiet, Dolly Doctor Sam helped me get a DD2 vinyl foot onto the foot armature. We even brought our own hair-dryer for this task! Not many people ever get to see a DD2 foot armature since it’s a pain to get the foot off of it, and quite the struggle to get it attached >_<" Thank you Sam!

PlasticFantastic brought along Amber wearing Mashiro’s ears and tail, to give AkaTG some inspiration on his own custom DD project.

Cirno is looking absolutely adorable in this pink sailor outfit!

Nurlindae brought a couple of her pretty resin girls with her. They are reclining with all the cute little plushies!

The dark skinned girl is named Naiya (she’s a Withdoll Priscilla) and the light-skinned one is named Lily (Batchix Lagoon). Nurlindae made a new dress for Lily especially for this meetup!

MrCool00236 brought his Yukino and his silicone LovelyDoll Harumi

Kai-Suteki brought Tai out, freshly tanned after hew newest spa treatment! We joked that “Sticky” wasn’t sticky anymore, but everyone was very impressed with how nicely Tai’s tan turned out.

Di-chan123’s Lily was showing some St/ Patrick’s Day spirit with her shamrock-print blouse.

At one point Lily and Amber did a wig swap to see how they’d look in different shades of ginger. I think they both look beautiful!

Hinata finally got to wear her pretty blue dress out!

Serena is channeling her inner Easter Bunny –

I was very happy to bring Siobhán out with me, since she usually stays at home. This is the first time she’s been able to let her hair down and wear something casual (she’s been living in her black dress from Tokyo since the day she arrived).

Amber is so cute with her adorable neko-mouth!

Cirno popped in to say “Nyan!”

The highlight if coming to Café Princess is the gorgeous desserts! Here are a selection of cakes – including the Chocolate Mousse Bomb, Strawberry Cheesecake and Blueberry Cheesecake.

And the delicious classic Strawberry Shortcake –

They make fresh waffles to-order and this is the yummy Strawberry Waffle Sandwich-

We had a lovely little meetup and time flew by really quickly! It’s always nice to have new faces join us, especially when they are new to Dollfie Dreams and not sure where to start. It helps to see the dolls in person, handle them and be able to ask questions from other owners! We’re a friendly bunch, so if any of you are ever in Toronto, let me know!
